Vocation Frustration is a Quest for Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Vocation Frustration is not affected by the passage of time and begins in Vernworth, where the Guildhead Klaus will inform you that some vocations are unavailable for registration due to a lack of equipment. Obtain the required weapons to have a chance at changing your Vocation.

It seems certain vocations are unavailable for registration at the guild hall at present, unless you have the weapons required to hand. Perhaps the townsfolk can tell you more.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Vocation Frustration Quest Walkthrough

You were advised to speak with the local armorer

After speaking to Klaus at Vernworth Vocation Guild, you will be advised to speak with the local armorer who can give you information on the thieves who stole the equipment. The NPC you're looking for is Roderick and his shop is located to the left of the Dragon statue if you're coming from the steps of Shakir's Inn.

Roderick has been informed that you've agreed to recover the stolen equipment. He informs you that goblins are behind the raids and he suspects they're hoarding the equipment in their den somewhere along the western road. The location that you're headed to is Trevo Mine, which will be marked on your map. You can take the Oxcart at the West Vernworth Oxcart Station or follow the path along the Western gate. Oxcarts are relatively safe except for a few raids now and then.

Cross Vermund through the west gate where you will encounter a fork. Make a left where you will fight off some goblins of a small group. They pose very little threat to you and you can surely eliminate them. As you follow this western road, you will come across a Cyclops, a large monster with one eye who uses an enormous bat for a weapon. When you're done fighting this enemy, return to the road to make your way to the Trevo Mine. As the road comes to a bend, you will notice a campfire near the water. There are also Saurians here that you can fight, then you can continue your journey after.

More enemies are hiding in the shadows as you approach Trevo Mine and the evidence of a goblin den becomes apparent. Head to the marked location on your map to reach a stone terrain with wooden scaffolding. This is the entrance to the cave and your objectives will be updated to "You found the goblins' lair." Head inside the den when you're ready to fight the goblins inside their den.

Obtain an Archistaff and Greatsword

The Trevor Mine is filled with narrow pathways which makes the fight more difficult. You and your Pawns can get trapped in certain spots so you need to position yourselves accordingly. If you're playing as a Mage, allow your allies to play in front of you and you can provide support from the back. The good thing is, there's only one path inside the Mine so it makes it easier to navigate. Your goal here is to retrieve two weapon types, in our case, we need to retrieve the Archistaff and a Greatsword.

The Greatsword is located inside a large black chest found in one of the wider sections of the mine. This is a little further inside the mine just before a wooden door. The mine opens up to another small path. Continue following this narrow path until you reach a bridge where fighting is seen in the distance. It appears that some soldiers have arrived before you and they have come to rid the place of goblins. After getting the first weapon, you can now return to the bridge and back to the room where you first opened the wooden door. By doing this, you can save the guards fighting in the other side, but you can skip this part and go to the lower area of the cave instead.

Just like the other levels of Trevo Mine, this place is filled with goblins who are ready to attack you on sight. As the path widens to a bigger area, you will see a treasure chest and you can extract Silver Ore from the wall. The second weapon's location is at the top right of the mine where the path becomes narrow again. After securing the stolen weapons, you can now return to the Vernworth Vocation Guild to deliver them to Klaus.
