DLC for Dragon's Dogma 2 covers all additional downloadable content for the game. Both free and paid DLCs may feature new Quests, NPCs, Enemies, and so on. In the previous game, free DLCs mainly came in the form of quest packs containing multiple additional Quests. Eventually, an expanded version of the game called Dark Arisen was released, containing all of the DLCs. It is yet unclear if this sequel game will receive the same treatment. What were DLCs in Dragon's Dogma
DLCs in the previous game came mostly in Quest Packs. Some of them followed a theme depending on the Quest Pack. Some of them had a side story to them but all of them were mostly ways to get some more gold and experience points, especially for those looking to tackle the game in harder difficulties. All DLCs eventually became available to be acquired alongside a large expansion called Dark Arisen, which featured a large storyline that gave players a glimpse into the deeper meanings and lore points of the world of Dragon's Dogma. These DLCs along with the expansion conferred a variety of extra bonuses for the player, such as additional Jewelry slots and more ways and materials for the Enhancement of their Equipment. The expansion's DLCs offer more play time for players and greater challenges to overcome and try out their different Arisen Builds with.
It is yet unclear if this sequel game will receive the same treatment. However, following the trend of bigger games receiving larger DLC expansions, players can probably expect Dragon's Dogma 2 to follow suit and produce more content for players to go through in the form of DLCs.
