Masked Correspondence is a Quest for Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Masked Correspondence is not affected by the passage of time. Sven will ask you to deliver his letter to Lord Patrick who will be present at the masquerade hall.

Sven bade you deliver a letter to a potential ally in his stead, as Disa does not allow him to attend masquerades—and there is no better opportunity for covert correspondence.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Masked Correspondence Quest Walkthrough

Deliver the letter to Lord Patrick

After picking up the quest from Sven's Chambers, he will ask you to deliver a letter to Lord Patrick. You will find him during the Masquerade night in Vernworth Hall. To enter, you need to wear appropriate attire. At this point, you should have completed The Stolen Throne, which gives you the Eventide Mask. Then, we used the reward from The Ornate Box for the rest of the attire. If you happened to got rid of these items, visit Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town and buy these items from him.

Make sure that you're visiting on a masquerade night, if you missed it, sleep at an Inn to pass the time, then come back to Vernworth Hall.

Once you're inside the hall, you need to keep an eye out for a man wearing a blue cape with a black and gold mask. He's fairly easy to spot as the other visitors would be wearing accessories befitting a lion. Once you find Lord Patrick, approach him and deliver Sven's letter. When you're done return to Sven's Chambers.

Report back to Regentkin Sven

After successfully delivering Sven's letter, look for him again inside his chambers. This conversation with Sven will mark Masked Correspondence as completed.

I'm on The Guardian Gigantus now and it doesn't let me pick up this quest. Maybe the cut-off was Feast of Deception

This quest doesn't require you to have completed "The ornate box" beforehand. I just strolled in Sven's chambers after encountering him on the streets once and after doing Brant's mission that required stealing papers from the castle office at night (when Sven notices you and tells you he's Disa's son) and Sven gave it to me.
