closure trophies dragons dogma2 wiki guide
Closure
Experienced the end of the cycle.

To obtain Closure, players have to perform certain steps:

  1. Get The Hero trophy first to finish all trials of the unmoored world
  2. Head to the Seafloor Shrine and interact with Rothais from within the BLUE beacon aura. This is important, do not use the Red one instead. After talking to him, Luz will appear and ask you to evacuate as many people as possible. As previously mentioned, DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE RED BEACON. Doing so will end the game, locking you out from this trophy.
  3. Head to Vernworth and seek out Brant at the Inn, to start the side quest "The Regentkin's Resolve". Now head to the castle and speak with Sven. He is on the second floor of the castle. Enter it and take the staircase on your left, then head all the way down the corridor to find him in the last room on the right. He will talk to you.
  4. Head for the next marker and use R2 on Visa, Sven's mother, and bring her back to Sven. Your next objective is by the oxcart, intimidate Allard by grabbing him. This will cause him to flee scared. Return to Sven and tell him that the oxcart is ready.
  5. Travel to Sacred Arbor and speak with Glyndwr, he can be found on the round platform at the town's entrance. Follow him to his father Taliesin to convince him to evacuate his people. Bring a pawn with the “Woodland Wordsmith” specialization to be able to understand him.
Keep talking to him until he gives up. He changes his dialogue each time you sleep, so repeat this process until he gives up (sleeping 3 times should be enough). Or, you can complete the side quest The Ailing Arborheart and Out of the Forest, Into the Forge. After planting the seed, return to Taliesin to complete this side quest and evacuate the Sacred Arbor.
  6. Travel to Bakbattahl and head to the Flamebearer Palace. You'll be stopped by Menella. If not, continue to the palace and talk to her (if she's not there, make sure you completed the trials for The Hero Trophy in the same life without dying). Now you have to witness and end three different quarrels. How do you manage to end them, be it peacefully or violently, doesn't influence the evacuation of Bakbattahl. Managing to successfully evacuate Bakbattahl completes Civil Unrest.
  7. You will earn The Guardian trophy at this point. Now head to Volcanic Island Camp and speak with Ernesto, he can be found by the northern gate. He will want you to rescue Ciodhna and Gautstafr. Head to the mission marker, grab Gautstafr and use the Ferrystone to return to the Camp. Carry Gautstafr to Ernesto to complete this part of the quest. After talking to Ernesto, find Lamond on his way to the geysers. Choose any of the available dialogue options with him to convince him about the evacuation, and you'll have evacuated all Volcanic Island Camp and completed side quest The Importance of Aiding Ernesto.
  8. Travel to the the Excavation Site near the Volcanic Island Camp, face the Magick Golem and talk to Henrique. Follow him and you will receive a key. Return where you met him, and use the kley unlock the door of the second hut on the hill. Here, retrieve the Diminished Godsway and once again, head back to Henrique. Doing so will evacuate the Excavation Site and complete side quest Shepherd of the Pawns.
  9. With everybody evacuated, head back to the red beacon in Seafloor Shrine and interact with it. Finally, survive on the dragon's back while the credits roll. Congratulations! you've just gotten Closure!

The Hero
Overcame the trials of the unmoored world.

To complete all the trials in the Unmoored World, you MUST complete them within 4 days. This means that if you are not fast enough, each land will be destroyed.

The trials can be recognized by the Red Beacons that come from the sky. There are 4 trials in total, one of which is automatically completed as the first objective as soon as you get your pawn back in the Unmoored World. The ideal way is as follows.

  • Step 1: During the final main quest "Legacy" you must attack the dragon, then while you fly on it climb to its heart, and use the Empowered Godsbane Blade on yourself. This will spawn you in Unmoored World.
  • Step 2: Recover your main Pawn. You do this by tracking side quest "Dreams Apart" going to Bakbattahl, in Forbidden Magick Research Lab upstairs.
  • Step 3: Travel to Vernworth and complete the trial (red dot on map) located to the left outside Vernworth, to face one of the most powerful bosses of Dragon's Dogma 2. The boss can only be killed by attacking its weak points or using an Unmaking Arrow. After The Boss is dealt with, you must go straight to the next location. Note that this boss will instakill you if you attempt it under level 30.
  • Step 4: Travel to Sacred Arbor, where another red dot is on the map, northwest of Vernworth. The next boss awaits us there, but it is not as hard as the others. Here you have to attack the weak points again so that you can defeat him. Here you work your way from the tail to the head. Again, take into consideration that this boss will instakill you if you attempt it under level 30.
  • Step 5: The next trial is right where you killed the Gigantus. Interact with him to get the I, Talos trophy. For this trial you just have to watch the fight.
  • Step 6: Both Phaesus and the Pathfinder will show up, telling you of a final trial taking place in Bakbattahl. If they don't show up, head to Bakbattahl for the final trial. Once there,  head towards the red marker and then follow Phaesus until you can slay the dragon. As soon as you interact with the beacon, the game is over. After the cutscene you get the trophy that all trials have been completed.
  • Step 7: Now the world can no longer be destroyed, so you can now explore it. You should now bring all people to safety. For the next steps continue with The Guardian trophy.

An Eye for an Eye
Petrified a medusa.
  • You must get a Medusa head by cutting it off Medusa. Players can find Medusa found in Caliginous Depths [Map Link] south of Bakbattahl.
  • Immediately when the fight starts climb up to her head by pressing, then do normal melee attacks. Repeat this process until her head falls off. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER ATTACK TYPES, only melee buffed with lightning while at her head.
  • Collect her head from the floor to put it in your inventory. If Medusa took too much damage you will only get the regular (non-Preserved) Medusa Head. (It's highly recommended you make a backup save before fighting her, so you can reload that and retry if you don't get the Preserved Head).
  • Immediately,  travel to Bakbattahl and put the Preserved Medusa Head into the storage. Items in the storage don't perish. It's best to place a Portcrystal in Bakbattahl and use a Ferrystone to teleport back there immediately to prevent the head to rot in your inventory. This is time-sensitive so you have to be quick. You can also run back there, but DO NOT REST along the way
  • AFTER putting the Preserved Medusa Head into storage, rest on the bench outside Bakbattahl's Pilgrim's Inn for 14 days. Stay seated until you skipped through 14 nights. This will respawn Medusa
  • Now withdraw the Preserved Medusa Head from storage and run back to Medusa's lair. Again, do not rest on your way and do not waste any time on any other activity. (Click "Equip" on the Preserved Medusa Head in the inventory screen, and open the inventory again and select brandish. Aim directly to Medusa to pretrify her and unlock the trophy.
  • Alternatively, to get only this achievement you can simply use the Daughter of the Evening shield from the Vernworth Castle Vault which reflects the Medusa's gaze.

Set a pawn quest.
  • Interact with the Rifstone at Vernworth or Bakbattahl. After entering the riftworld, interact with the Riftstone again and select "Set a Pawn Quest".
  • If this option is not available or grayed out, head to rest at an inn or your house.

This works differently depending on if you are online or offline:

  • If you are offline the pawn quest completion is time-based, it takes a few in-game days for Pawns to complete their quest. If it doesn’t work for you offline, you will need to get online (in System > Network > Options turn on Network Features and Data Processing). Each time you rest, it updates your pawn level in the Rift for other online players and it gives you any rewards your pawn brought back from other people’s games upon completing a pawn quest.
  • New Pawn Quests can be set as soon as the AI auto-solved the quest (offline), or another player has hired your pawn and completed your current pawn quest (online). Note that you will not receive any notification when the quest is completed. You have to sleep again,  to see if the pawn quest was completed. You can then choose your own pawn quest at the Rift Stone.

He is a mini-boss that possess 4 health bars, and he is no pushover either. Try to be at least level 30 to make the fight a bit easier. Also note that if the fight drags on too long, Dullahan may flee as the night shifts into day.

Used illicit means to pass through the gate at the border.

For this trophy, you must cross the border gate in Checkpoint Rest Town while sitting at the back of a carriage. The guard will open the gate as soon as the carriage comes, letting you inside.

Do the following:

  • First, if for some reason you already obtained the items Beastren Border Entry Permit or Battahl Residence Permit you must put them into Storage. Even if you cross the border on carriage, if you have this in your inventory the trophy WILL NOT unlock. If you already crossed the border, on any other means, don't worry you can still earn the trophy.

  • At the entrance to Checkpoint Rest Town, wait at the Oxcart Station to pass time until the Oxcart finally arrives. Interact with the sign where it shows the prompt Await Oxcart, not with the bench next to it.

  • Head to the bench across from the Oxcart Station and rest there one time. This will advance the time to when the royal carriage comes (the royal carriage is NOT the oxcart).
  • The royal carriage should now spawn on the path just outside Checkpoint Rest Town. It is easily differentiated, since this is a proper royal carriage with an enclosed seating area in the back and a roof on it. If it doesn’t spawn, rest at the station and then the bench again and check the road outside town again.
  • Get in and let it drive through the border gate, this takes more or less 5 minutes.
  • The trophy pops shortly after driving past the gate.
