DD2 Plunder Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is a weapon skill. Weapon skills are vocation-dependent — though some vocations share the same weapons, they might not have access to the same weapon skills. Executed by pressing the corresponding weapon skill button.
- Skills in Dragon's Dogma 2 are various passive and active abilities that the player can assign to the Arisen and their Pawns for use during combat. Some Skills are only usable depending on the Vocation of the character, while other Skills are dependent on the Weapon the character is using.
- Some Skills are shared between Vocations — when you buy a Skill shared by 2 or move Vocations, it can be accessed by any Vocation that can use it and doesn't have to be purchased again when swapping Vocations.

Plunder Dragon's Dogma 2 Guide: Steal from NPCs
This guide is dedicated to showing you the list of NPCs to steal from including main story characters, Merchants, and even patrol guards. To do this, unlock the Plunder skill, which is part of the Thief Vocation. Then, the option to steal from various NPCs will become available. You can do this on all of the NPCs that you will encounter except for the NPCs that you have a high affinity with. The option will simply not show up and presently, we haven't found a way to reduce affinities in Dragon's Dogma 2. NOTE: Some of the NPCs do not carry an item that you can steal from them.
How to Steal from NPCs in Dragon's Dogma 2
Approach any NPC as you normally would and have the Plunder skill learned as a Thief. This skill will only be activated if the NPC is not in a combat stance, or taking curatives. This means that you don't have to draw your weapon or go into sneak mode. Walk up to them and press the (Y) button to activate Plunder.
You can steal from NPCs in broad daylight and they will not mind, except for a select few. There are some NPCs who will take offense if you repeatedly use Plunder on them. Empress Nadinia's guards will be hostile if you repeatedly steal from her, and the same goes for the NPCs at the Rose Chateau Bordelrie. There is no real danger while doing this, except your Pawns will likely attack the NPCs who will attack you, so it's a good idea to leave them behind if you plan on stealing from NPCs. NOTE: Plunder will only work once even if you repeatedly use it on the NPCs. There's no advantage to doing it and will only result in the NPC getting angry, or the nearby guards becoming hostile.
This list contains all the items that you can steal from NPCs in Dragon's Dogma 2 using the Plunder Skill from the Thief Vocation. This is a work in progress. Please feel free to add information if available.
