Fig is a Curative Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Fig grows in abundance in the wilds of Battahl, rarely seen in Vermund. Consume it to recover a bit of Health.
Fig sells for significantly more gold in the kingdom of Vermund, where it is considered a rare fruit. If you're trying to make gold by selling Fig in Vermund, make sure to sell it after it ripens, as it will sell for 560 instead of 350 when ripe. It must be kept in the inventory of you or one of your pawns for 3 days to ripen. Some strategies for advancing time to ripen your fruit are as follows:
- Carry unripe items in your inventory while adventuring.
- Rest at a bench to advance 1/4 of a day. You may continue to press the rest button to avoid standing up from the bench.
- Wait at a sign for an oxcart to arrive (which may advance almost an entire day).
- Travel by oxcart (which may advance an entire day).
- Sleep at a camp fire, house, or inn to advance either 1/2 or an entire day at a time.
Take care to sell your stock before entering the end game, as perishable items in your storage will become rotten then.
