DD2 High Decanter Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is a weapon skill. Weapon skills are vocation-dependent — though some vocations share the same weapons, they might not have access to the same weapon skills. Executed by pressing the corresponding weapon skill button.
- Skills in Dragon's Dogma 2 are various passive and active abilities that the player can assign to the Arisen and their Pawns for use during combat. Some Skills are only usable depending on the Vocation of the character, while other Skills are dependent on the Weapon the character is using.
- Some Skills are shared between Vocations — when you buy a Skill shared by 2 or move Vocations, it can be accessed by any Vocation that can use it and doesn't have to be purchased again when swapping Vocations.

Question, does High Decanter count towards Augural Flare?, cause that might be a crazy combo if it worked together no?, has anyone tested this?

Very underutilized skill because of low damage and other spells that's just more flashy and cool dispite this one having infinite duration, extremely high hit per second leading to fast proc effect from staff, however if you like to bully the dragon or lich use this spell while using with a staff that inflict silent all that left is finding a pawn tank that good at pulling agro (having 1 ring of disfavour) then all you have to do during dragon fight is sit back activate this on head or heart then grab popcorn and watch the dragon struggling as you will make the dragon permanently silent they won't cast any spell and the pawns just bully the dragon

This could have potential IF it worked like grapnel from DD1

Never saw anyone used it until some random bandit with a lightning staff sucked me for 2 minutes straight (I died miserably).
