DD2 Augural Flare Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is a weapon skill. Weapon skills are vocation-dependent — though some vocations share the same weapons, they might not have access to the same weapon skills. Executed by pressing the corresponding weapon skill button.
- Skills in Dragon's Dogma 2 are various passive and active abilities that the player can assign to the Arisen and their Pawns for use during combat. Some Skills are only usable depending on the Vocation of the character, while other Skills are dependent on the Weapon the character is using.
- Some Skills are shared between Vocations — when you buy a Skill shared by 2 or move Vocations, it can be accessed by any Vocation that can use it and doesn't have to be purchased again when swapping Vocations.

Has anyone tried this with High Decanter?, would this be a crazy decent combo?

What if you first cast a maelstrom on the target and follow up with an augural flare while the maelstrom is still up?

so this spell is bugged right? the devs messed up the math ? this with less effort does more damage than meteoron and maelstrom combined. this feels like it absorbs 50 damage and spit it out multiplied by 18,000%

I love sorcerers power and though the options aren't too crazy this and a multi-hit spell shred enemies. The key feature is you can attach it to weak spots and absolutely exploit them to the fullest. The combo can be pulled off relatively quick when compared to maester skills, and for aggressive monsters who wont let you get those off, this is your answer.

Been using it on Warfarer but when I cast it, 50% of the time it just disappears a second after casting it on a monster. Doesn't even explode, just stops glowing. Is this a glitch or am I not getting something?

Just cane here to say how busted it is. This + lightning bolts and i’m melting dragons in less than 60 seconds

Prescient Flare seems to be better at the moment. Detonates faster, takes less hits, and does more damage. Additionally, Prescient Flare can be proc just by dealing dmg while Augural Flare needs to hit specifically to proc.
This skill isn't very good on pawns becuase Levin is the fastest cast they got and having two thunder spells isn't optimal.
