DD2 Meteoron Guide, Notes & Tips

This spell is unfortunately a pale imitation of the Bolide spell from Dragon's Dogma 1.
It only summons 5 meteors instead of 10 (or 15 with Dark Arisen) and they all go to your target.
This simply doesn't have that effect from the first game where if you manage to cast this it's a fight ender because it just nukes every enemy on the field from orbit.

I gave the little girl flowers and she instantly gave me the spell.

if the girl never updates after a few days after giving her the books go and check if one of the grandparents is dead as randomly they may wander down the mountain and get set upon by goblins etc. to check go to the mortuary in the capital and check if they are there. if they are revive them with a wakestone and your quest will update

If the quest won’t progress, check the cliff near the house. If you don’t find her grandma there, she might be dead so you need to revive her in the morgue.
In my case, a cyclop was standing in her place. I guessed she was killed by it.

My advice for people on PC who made a blunder that cost them either this spell or the other. There's a mod called 'Crazy's Shop' that add the books into the game as purchasable items.

The devs litterally @#$@ over their player base and take away two master unique spells just based on completing a quest. That is **** game design and the game should be scored way lower for some of these things. Souls games don't even do that kind of **** to people.

love the spell but it sometimes doesn't work out in the open, especially on larger monsters, it shoots the meteors up but nothing comes down most of the time, I don't know if this is because the monsters are moving so it doesn't register the target, if it is then that's poor coding on the developers part.

DO NOT give the little girl any Forgeries of the grimoires.
Give the forgeries to her father.
You will still receive his full rewards and giving the girl all the grimoires will give you her full rewards.
Failing this, you lock yourself out of her rewards entirely.
No Meteoron.
This spell is highly overrated. Just 5 meteors and the damage from each is actually pretty low.
