Where to Find Elsa in Dragon's Dogma 2
Elsa is primarily found in: Batthal.
- To get Elsa to spawn you'll need to kill her sister, Arletta and wait a few days
- You can find Arletta as a traveling merchant she's often seen traveling the road between Bakbattahl and Checkpoint Rest Town. Can be found near Battahl Ropeway Station Two and Ropeway Station Three.
- Once you kill Arletta wait a few days and return to the path and Elsa will take her route

I was trying to find her to steal the book from her for the sorcerer maister. I recall her dying, and I remembered the name attached to the body specifically because I remember thinking "Frozen lmao", but I didn't bother to resurrect her because I was sure she had nothing of value in her inventory. I checked both charnel houses first and didn't find her there so I assumed I rolled back to an inn save for some reason or another. She was nowhere to be found when I looked, so I thought maybe wandering merchants don't go to charnel houses for some reason and I killed another wandering merchant named Vash on the Battahli road to see. I waited 3 in game days and can't find him in either charnel house either. Not sure what's going on with that.

Her name isn't Elsa, it's Arletta and using the theif move "plunder" on her doesn't give u the book

Okay guys I just got through plundering The Towering Earth, very weird that this specific NPC with no connection to story holds such an important key item.
She and her sister can die even without you paying attention, but do you know that they don't go to the morgue? As I spent two days checking after her body despawned. Turns out that I had Elsa first before her sister spawned and it might be to the fact that her sister died earlier without me noticing.
The game will cycle between the two of them every time they die and despawn so don't worry about locking yourself out of that Spellbound quest. Elsa looks like the picture but her sister Arletta wears black and has darker fur overall. Her sister will not give you the book and sell the same thing, so unalive her if you see her and Elsa will spawn in the same area a few days later
