The Dragonforged is primarily found in: Bay Wayside Shrine
- During the events of Flickering Shadows, players can talk to The Dragonforged at the Bay Wayside Shrine past the Olta'Battahl Coastline as an optional objective to find someone who can tell you more about the fragments that are used for the Godsway.

- In new game plus, the dragonforged can upgrade any of your abilities to cost 50% less stamina. Only one ability can be upgraded at a single time. Second upgrade option is vocation upgrade, I'm yet to try it but the text imply a higher stat growth while you level wirh the upgraded vocation. Same as for the weapon skill upgrade, only one up at a time. Cost is 20 wyrmlife crystal for both.

To be able to obtain the Wyrmfire upgrade, players will have to upgrade a weapon at least three times with any of the other four smithing schools.
For easily doing this, you can do it with any the cheap starting Weapons, since they only require common resources.
Once you have your weapon upgraded up to level three on any of the 4 smithing schools, head to The Dragonforged, the only NPC that can further upgrade your weapons with Wyrmfire. Players will encounter him during the Flickering Shadows main quest.
Unlike the other upgrades, Wyrmfire requires Wyrmslife Crystals instead of Gold or Materials.

- Buy Dragon's Dogma, for 110 Wyrmslife Crystal, from him.
AnonymousEnhanced vocations seem to gain 20% increased stats multyplicatively with vocation stat bonus.
I tested this with a Fighter pawn with enhanced vocation from level 16-70.

I just did little test with upgrade vocation option, for one same level with it and without it through loading tavern save, and stat grow exactly the same in both situations, so how does it work ?
2050 Wyrmlife Crystals for all the weapons and armor. Dude thats crazy. on average you can get 15-20 per drake kill. that is 103 dragons you would have to kill. and with theif you can at max get 40 for one kill. even with best outcome that is 52 drakes. you have to super farm them just to collect everything. that not even counting upgrading them if you plan on doing that. This is also not counting other ways to get Wyrmlife Crystals. So number might be smaller. But just killing drakes those are the numbers

I'm in Seafloor Shrine and he suddenly stopped working. I can no longer interact with him to buy stuff or upgrade. Anyone know what's going on with this? He was previously working here, but now when I hail him, he just gives me a one line comment and his shop doesn't open.

Experient Boon is 50% EXP multiplier, additive with Medusa's bow and having fewer pawns. Pawns also benefit from the buff.

Has anyone worked out if the vocation upgrade does what it says, and is it retroactive? If its not, seems like a big loss of stats since I'm 55 and only just now in NG+ and seeing this it seems like I should just restart and rush the story as low level as possible to make better use of the better stat growth in ng+?

Also, there are things he does which are not described here in NG+
- Receive blessing (lasts one day)
1. Experient Boon - 30 WLC - more experience
2. Vocational Flair - 30 WLC - more discipline
3. Unflagging Vigor - 15 WLC - stamina recovery speed increase
4. Charming aura - 15 WLC - more affinity gain
-Reset Enhancement - 1 WLC (no matter the upgrade level) to reset item's enhancement level to zero. Works on any item as long as it was upgraded at least once, including Dragonforged. No materials required other than 1 WLC.

I cna confirm that in NG+ he still sells the equipment for crystals. I just bumrushed him right after reaching Vernworth (Guerco cavern + Mystic Spearhand charge skill to go up the slide) and I can already talk to him and buy items, receive blessings etc.

Does he sell these things on early NG+? I wasn't able to buy them during the True Ending world.
