AnonymousI followed all the steps like yall. Oracle, revive Ortega, visited him but he fights on sight, and now Brant won’t talk to me even if i bring him to the bar. Which used to work 100% of the time, even during the day. Nice lil trick I found early on.
But during my research online, I didn’t pause the game and he ended up walking to the bartender and he leaned on the bar. I spoke to him again and he now is giving me dialogue that I can reply to. My two options being “Tell me of the coronation.” & “About the phantom oxcart…” :D goodluck everyone.
Ps: anyone that ended up in this comment section, great investigative work! I bet you guys are Thief, too. Takes a cool ninja to end up here.

Something the oracle doesn’t tell you is that you can bring the letter to the queen’s son. But it must be done before giving it to Grant. Which is funny cause the queen’s son will says he’ll look at it if you have already shown Grant. Which you can’t show Grant first bc he will take it and end the mission. I showed Sven (i think thats the queen’s son’s name) the letter, cool bit of dialogue happened (cool cause the dialogue played into investigative RP work), and now im trying to give it to grant but he wont talk to me.
Ps:i reloaded inn save to redo a few steps. Im trying my advice of letitng him walk to the bar but he won’t step away from the porch area. He just standing there. And if you place him by the bartender he tries to leave the bar. So i placed him on the porch of the bar, where we normally speak to him at night, then i waited on bench once (as he started walking away) and then he went to lean on the bar like normal. So we back on track
