Creatures and Enemies in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2) are the various neutral and hostile creatures the Arisen will encounter during their journey. Defeating some Enemies grants special materials which are necessary for crafting Items or Enhancing
Weapons and Armor. With the introduction of two main regions – Vermund and Battahl, and with the latter being a region mainly of a new race called the Beastren, a variety of new types of Enemies are sure to give players new experiences and challenges. Once the game has been fully released, this page will be updated with all the information on strengths, weaknesses, monster drops, and so on for Dragon's Dogma 2 Creatures and Enemies.
Dragon's Dogma 2 Enemies Guide
What are the Enemies in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Certain Enemies make their return in Dragon's Dogma 2. Goblins and Harpies still infest the wild explorable Locations of the game, along with larger Enemies like Cyclopes, griffins and ogres – all of whom can disrupt the player's Oxcart rides. New unique creatures are also introduced in the game, such as Medusa and the Sphinx.
A new race called Beastren is introduced in Dragon's Dogma 2, creating a larger variety of personalities and characters. Of course, the end of the journey (or the beginning of the Endgame, as was the case in the first game), is marked by the inevitable battle against the Dragon who captured the Arisen's heart.
Combat in Dragon's Dogma 2
Dragon's Dogma 2, for the most part, retains the first game’s unique Combat system, but with new features. The new engine also allows for more imaginative approaches to defeating Enemies. The dynamism of the environment encourages players to approach enemy encounters with greater creativity, deploying strategies such as rolling boulders, breaking dams, and destroying bridges. The immersive physics bring life to the Pawns, Enemies, and NPCs alike, giving endless exciting possibilities to players.

Why is there one drake that seems kind of cursed? Has no heart and some goo oozing out of his chest. It's nowhere explained or did I just miss it?

Interesting to see such a list of enemies when I basically only fight a variety of reskinned Ogres, Cyclops, Golems, Saurians, Drakes, Bandits and Undead.

Whilst the combat was everything i could wish for. Alas i feel like it doesn't really matter if all you fight is the same rotation of 4 enemies 80% of the time.. Where's the variety??

Anyone know the chances of coming across a Drake while roaming?
I wonder if all monsters types always respawn
