Talos is an Enemy in Dragon's Dogma 2. Talos is a Giant, impervious to attacks unless dealt directly to it's various crystal growths scattered across it's head and body. Killing enemies will cause them to drop Materials that can be used to enhance weapons for increased stats, upgrade armor for better damage mitigation, and more. This page will also cover all relevant information about Talos which includes their item drops, where to find them, skills they can cast, stats, and how to fight.
Introducing Talos, the bronze giant from the legends. Rising from the sea, its massive frame can walk over valleys with case. Just like divine punishment, it mercilessly brings chaos to the land.
DD2 Talos Enemy Information
Talos is a new Enemy debuting in Dragon's Dogma 2. It is a Giant that is impervious to attacks not directed towards the various crystal growths found all over it's body. Talos will largely ignore the player and keep walking towards it's target, stopping only to hurl javelins at any structure unfortunate enough to stand in it's way. Talos is reminiscent of the Golems found in Dragon's Dogma, featuring stone-like skin and protrusions that the enemy can take damage from. The main difference between these two mobs is that Talos is much bigger.

Talos Enemy Combat Guide for DD2
Being a Giant and a big enemy, the Arisen will have to be creative when fighting Talos. In gameplay footage shown during the 2023 Showcase, there are several ways to target and hit Talos' protrusions including by using ballistas found on cliff edges, by being grabbed and flown over by a bird, or by jumping from above Talos and grabbing him as you fall, allowing you to climb directly to where it's weakspots are.

If you hit talos with a specific arrow fast enough a certain bridge is saved. Talos really isn’t a boss fight it’s a speed test for best result. Also there are several talos like constructs if you know where to look.

just in case no one noticed but the stakes after being forced out all drop Wakestone Shards. very wise to collect them all.

The thing that confuses me the most is why he dies, is it becouse you break all the wiert stakes, does he have an invisible health bar that type of stuff. It woudn't change the fact that im killing it but it would be nice to know.

I just did a playthrough using the Medusa head to take out Talos even before he reached the shore - if you destroy Talos in this method, you will end up with 5 beacons in Unmoored World (2 extra on Volcanic Island).
