DD2 Nex Enemy Information
Nex (Latin for Death) is an enormous dragon, dwarfing the Dragon in stature, that appears in the Unmoored World during the games true ending. Upon interacting with the final red beam that appears in the Seafloor Shrine, it descends from the red mist in the sky to end the world. Upon its arrival, the Arisen's main pawn turns into a shadowy dragon and takes them up to stop Nex from destroying the world.

Nex Drops in Dragon's Dogma 2
Nexes drop items based on chance. Sometimes, they may drop nothing. Not all drops are listed on this table so if you find any missing please edit the page. Note that different types or levels of Nexes have slightly different drop rates, so we have marked a range instead of a fixed number. Higher level enemies tend to yield more valuable items, often in larger quantities.

Nex Enemy Combat Guide for DD2
Nex is not fought directly. Instead, the player must make their way up it's back while avoiding obstacles and firebreath from the beast. Should the player fail, they will be given a chance to try again or give up, resulting in a bad ending. If they succeed, a cutscene will show their main pawn exposing Nex's heart, and the Arisen will stab it with the Godsbane, ending the cycle once and for all.

For those who are asking- THIS IS A VERY BIG SPOILER FOR THE STORY:
Nex is the Unmoored Oblivion Dragon, the one that comes to end the world when you use the last red light in the sea shrine floor. That's why it's listed in your log after the purgeners :)
