Chimera is an Enemy in Dragon's Dogma 2. Chimeras are man-made beasts with the head and front torso of a lion, head and back torso of a goat, and a snake where the tail should be. Killing enemies will cause them to drop Materials that can be used to enhance weapons for increased stats, upgrade armor for better damage mitigation, and more. This page will also cover all relevant information about Chimera which includes their item drops, where to find them, skills they can cast, stats, and how to fight.

Four-legged, three-headed monsters bearing the visage of a lion, a goat and a serpent. Each head has its own method of attack, including the ability to bite, cast magick and poison foes.

DD2 Chimera Enemy Information

Chimeras make a return from the first Dragon's Dogma game and will be one of the many large, scalable monsters that will give the Arisen a challenge while fighting. They are beasts bearing the heads of a lion and goat, and snake perched where the tail should be. This amalgamation of a beast is dangerous as all three creatures within it can act independently of each other.

Lion head is weak to magick, Goat head is weak to physical attacks, Snake head can take damage from both. The snake is susceptible to slashing attacks, and can be cut off.

Chimera Enemy Combat Guide for DD2

The Chimera is one of the most formidable foes that you will face throughout the game. This monster will take nearly no damage from your basic attacks, so just like previous giant foes, you will need to focus on its weak places to defeat it.

Although the Chimera does not have a very high health level in comparison to other large monsters in Dragon's Dogma 2, he is a bit challenging to fight because it possesses three distinct attacks, including Magic, Melee, and Poison, as well as three different heads that are shaped like different animals.

If you want to rapidly beat this adversary in combat, you might begin by cutting off its snake tail to avoid taking poison hits. When you have finished dealing with the tail, you should go on to the back of the Chimera and deal with the goat head. This is because the goat head is where the magic attacks originate from. The Lion head should be dealt with last because it is the part of the body that has the highest health.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Chimera Skills

The Lion will lunge after you and deals physical attacks. Meanwhile, the goat can cast magick attacks that can put you to sleep. It can also shoot fireballs or otherwise cause damage. Lastly, the snake tail spreads poison.
