- Found in a chest between Checkpoint Rest Town and Vernworth near the main road [Map Link]
- By supporting Nadinia’s plan and therefore have the empress herself lying on the bed. The unknown lady will confirm this and proceed to ask you to rectify the Coral Snakes’ failure by killing her yourself in A Candle in the Storm. By reaching this outcome in the quest, you will receive the Ring of Amplification.

I found a "Ring of Amplification" on the remains of the top floor of the watch tower East-Southeast of Checkpoint while doing the quest where you save the boy from wolves... I could never figure out where he was so I knew he was eaten long before, so I was just hanging out there at night and a ghost king spawned inside the tower and it was like fighting in a phone booth. He dropped the Flamberge great sword, so it was kinda cool. The ring is on the top floor on what's left of the floor just at the top of the stairs...you can't miss it.
