- A chunk of Gold Ore can be looted from a nest located west of Vernworth. [See Dragon's Dogma 2 Map]
- Mine the dark stone on the wall northeast of Vernworth. [See Dragon's Dogma 2 Map]
- Can be found a few steps from the river, on one side of the mountain next to the Palace Overlook Cape. [See Dragon's Dogma 2 Map]

- Gold Ores are one of the items that are available to be forged at Ibrahim's Scrap Store.
