    • Found 32 but there were 2 pieces I couldnt pick up as they were close to the roof of a section of the mine, and you cant reach them, at least without standing on a few things.

The Glimmercoal (not Glimmercole) is an ingredient in the quest to open up the Dwarven smithy. It glows as long as there is no other light around. This means not only your lantern, but also the light cast from your weapons. If you or your pawns have weapons like fire weapons or holy weapons that glow and cast light, the glimmercoal will stop glowing as you come near. The easiest way to find it all is to turn your lanterns on and clear the whole cave of monsters, then park your pawns at the entrance or in the boss room, and go collect the glimmercoal yourself with your weapon sheathed and your lantern extinguished. I found something like 37 in one run. There's a room that's kind of tricky to get to that has a whole pile of it, have a look at an interactive map to help you figure out how to find that.

Worth noting that ALL light sources will dim the ores, not just your lantern. If you or a pawn have an enchanted weapon or otherwise produce a light (ie the glow of an equipped Magick Bow, Mage's skill sigils, etc) the ores will dim. Either unequip these weapons and/or have your pawns wait outside while you gather. If you're producing no light you can literally walk right up to a glimmercoal and grab it without it dimming, which makes collecting them much less tedious

Never underestimate jank. I went from 13 found, 27 NOT from "Just turn off your lamp and look for glowing ones!". But realizing many were glitchy. Some only flickered green 0.0001 seconds occasionally, etc. Just set aside a day to kill everything, then backtrack grabbing EVERYTHING just in case of "Oh that was three even though it was not glowing" pranks,

Anyone know if the sell price is more in Vermund than in Battahl? I.E. Similar how apples and blueberries sell for more in Battahl than in Vermund. Not sure if foreign items sell for more than in their native region, or if things just sell for more in Battahl since it's later in the game than Vermund.

              • You need 15 Glimmercoal to complete the quest but you will get an additional quest objective completed if you pick up more than 25. I got 35 Glimmercoal exploring the entire cavern.

glimmercoal is a special coal employed in forges. easily identifiable by its brief green glow in darkness.
15 are needed for regalia restoration quest
glymercoal is a lesser form of this material as it is unusable for fuel
