Finder's Token is a Valuable type of Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Finder's Token is a token of indiscernible purpose. Found in the place where you first obtained a Seeker's Token.
Finder's Token Use in Dragon's Dogma 2
Give it to the Sphinx for the quest, A Game of Wits
How to get Finder's Token
The Finder's Token spawns where you picked up your first Seeker's Token. If you start a New Game Plus, it will be the first Seeker's Token you pick up in that New Game Plus. If you haven't collected any Seeker's Token's yet, it has been reported that it will appear next to the next Seeker's Token you pick up. If you've already collected all Seeker's Token's in a previous game, it has been reported that the Finder's Token will appear right at your feet in front of the Sphinx when you begin the riddle of rumination.
- You can keep track of your pickups in historical order by using the VIP function to track items in our Interactive Map..
- You can also duplicate Finder's Token at Ibrahim's Scrap Shop, which allows you to skip finding the Finder's Token for subsequent playthroughs starting from New Game Plus.

I checked all seeker tokens in northern Vermund and found mine in the harpy nest close to the moonlight glow field. I vaguely remember my first tokens there, around Melve and the statue so I looked those up first.

First play ng, copy it at copy shop. No need to find the first token location for the next play ng+

Well I completely did not think to check about ng+ and randomly picked up a token somewhere and can't remember where. Steam player. Pawn ID WQ9P59DJBOB2. Have a quest set with nice reward for anyone willing to send one my way.

Would send one to my pawn as well? Been looking forever for this token <.< H8GG2JAKCK73 - I play on steam :)

I have no clue where my first one is so if you have forgeries send one to my pawn so that I can forge some myself and keep em flowing XHNR40D9MDK9 is his id

Forgeries result in a duplicate. I often give them as a gift to pawns.

Have all 220, and was not aware it counted the token you found in THAT run as the spawn point. Already in a new run, and have boned myself.. If anybody could spare a dupe to pawn ID 9OB6FWW01E32 on Xbox, that would be great. I’ll pay it forward to others. Really dumb riddle design.

Does not depend on where you found it in the previous playthrough, only on your current playthrough.

Yeah after your first play through (heck even in your first play through) just dupe this thing. Make forgeries so you won't have to worry about it ever again. Dupe This, Eternal Wakestones, and Allheal Elixirs.
So long as you do not talk to the Sphinx without it after 7 days have passed, you have unlimited time to find it. The quest only fails IF you talk to her after 7 days and you do not have one in your inventory. You can wait 20 days, then talk to her with one in your inventory, and you'll get the same dialogue and rewards that you get when you do it within 7 days. This is because this quest isn't treated like other timed quests. There's no hourglass icon on the quest list.

Bruh... it's dependant on which NG cycle?? I've had the first one I got marked on my map this whole time for no reason... I never got around to the Sphinx in my first playthrough and now I'm burnt I guess...

This is pretty farfetched... what should i do when i found almost all the tokens... i will never find the finder token again... ?

in ng+ the token is at the spot where you find the first seekers token of that ng.
on journey 1 my token was at the harpies nest above melve ,where i found my first token.
on journey 2 (ng+) it was in melve on the shore ,where i found my first token in ng+

pretty sure this is bugged in ng+ checked both my first play through location and all of the spawns in the initial area (Where I found my first one in ng+) to find nothing. Either that or my save bugged.

Can confirm that the Trickster Augment: " Detection " works for locating the Finders Token too. I ended up using fextra's interactive map to re-locate and retrace my collection. I was 50ish hours and 70 tokens in. What I'm saying is, it is possible my Brothers. And remember to Rest at an Inn so you don't run out of time

you can use the Detection augment from Trickster to find the Finder's token

Problem is I'm in NG+ and I don't know if it wants me to find the first one I grabbed in my original game or first in NG+

is there a way to find out wich one was your first ? theres no way i can remeber this :O
To anyone who might not be able to find their finder's token, you might want to take a look at the nexus mod "Riddle of Rumination Marker". It simply marks the token's location.
