DD2 Eternal Wakestone Notes & Tips

  • You can make duplicates of this item by traveling to Checkpoint Rest Town and requesting a forgery from Ibrahim for 30,000 G. Unlike how regular Wakestones are forged into Wokestones, a forgery of an Eternal Wakestone functions identically to the original, allowing you to essentially buy an unlimited supply.
  • You can carry up to 99 of this item
  • You can gift this item. It will give 500 points of favor to an NPC that likes the item.
  • Contrary to its name, it is not a reusable Wakestone, but rather, a single-use item that can revive multiple NPCs in one go.
  • Should a Pawn succumbed to Dragonsplague and slaughtered all NPCs within a town after an inn rest, the Eternal Wakestone can revive all NPCs in one go without using multiple regular Wakestones. However, the Eternal Wakestone is a single-use item, be sure to duplicate it for an additional copy by making a forgery at Ibrahim's Scrap Shop.
  • Eternal Wakestones are one of the items that are available to be forged at Ibrahim's Scrap Store.
  • silver trophy ps5 wiki guide30pxReaper's Scorn: Can be obtained by using the Eternal Wakestone and reviving multiple NPCs. Simply kill at least two NPCs once the Eternal Wakestone, preferably in Vernworth or Bakbattahl is in your possession and then use it to revive. This will earn you this trophy.
  • bronze trophy ps5 wiki guide30pxThe Savior: In order to get this trophy, you have to use a Wakestone to revive a dead NPC. Players will unlock Wakestones as a reward for completing both Disa's Plot and The Stolen Throne. These two are main quests, so players will complete them as they progress through the game. Once in the possession of a Wakestone, just kill an NPC and use the Wakestone to revive it.

Fair warning, if you intend to use the unmaking arrow on the sphinx, trigger the fight with a normal arrow or attack first, and wait to use it only once the actual "bossfight" has started. Silly me thought I could trust that shotting anything in the game with the most powerful one shot arrow in existence would simply kill it outright, but the sphinx shrugged it off like it was nothing, and after all the work I put in am now locked out of getting the eternal wakestone. This game is fantastic, but that is some ****ing bullshit game design right there. Idk how developers who can put so much thought into small areas could overlook this. I am now out the quest rewards and the unmaking arrow, thanks a bunch capcom.

I'm glad it's not infinite use on yourself, as that would make you immortal, and the games easy enough as is. However I wouldn't mind it being infinite use on other NPC's. I am glad that they included something to counter dragonsplague, but seems goofy for it to be the final sphinx reward.

The Dragonsplague comment should be listed as a spoiler as it isn't clear what would happen to a pawn that contracts it.

You can still get the Eternal Wakestone if you kill her before finishing the riddles. I completed Riddle of the Eyes and decided I didn’t feel like doing anymore. She dropped a few bags of 2000 gold and the key for the main chest

Great for if your pawns succumb to covid but not so great if drakes show up to slaughter the townsfolk 3 times a week.

              I hate Vernworth.

Cool I had to look this up now because I miss input on attacking her. Worst quest now for me and I don’t feel like playing anymore

                • I intend to get yhisxand save it for a second run to have the sphinx copy and see if anything special happens. I have a feeling that play one you use jadeite orb and play w use everwakestone. Play 3... Who knows? I'm open to suggestions but I think the first item that holds a loved one may have other import as well. To possibly bring another character through worlds into a NG+

I gave one to Ibrahim's scrap store to make a forgery. It cost 30 000 gold and seems to actually make a real copy of it instead of some 'wokestone'.

these are not reusable. Had to slay the Sphinx to get one cause my Pawn went crazy and wiped out the main town and killed a few important npcs and it's just gone. Also can only be liked like ferrystones. Need to be able to see the sky.
