Drenched is a Debilitation in Dragon's Dogma 2. Drenched is a debilitation caused by water exposure, it doesn't deal damage. It happens when soaked, through things like falling into a river or getting caught in the rain. While it shields from fire damage and tar, it also makes lightning attacks numb you and ice attacks freeze you. are negative statuses with effects that range from inflicting damage at steady intervals to making the target vulnerable to a specific type of attack. They are not exclusive to the Arisen and their Pawns, but can be inflicted by Weapons, Skills, Items, and the environment upon their Enemies, granting a fierce edge in battle if applied wisely.

This Debilitation per se, doesn't affect you directly, but it does change how certain elemental attacks will:
- Fire Damage attacks will deal reduced damage
- Ice Damage attacks will leave you ice-bound.
- Lightning Damage attacks will leave you numb
Also note that the envirorment or the weather can make you Drenched naturally. For example, if you step on a lake or if it starts to rain. Pay attention when these situations take place, to be ready to counter the effects it may have during Combat.
