Tarred is a Debilitation in Dragons Dogma 2. Tarred is a dousing debilitation, triggered by oil exposure, it doesn't cause direct damage. When affected, you're prone to being knocked off balance, and if hit by fire attacks, you become torched, suffering substantial ongoing damage. Debilitations are negative statuses with effects that range from inflicting damage at steady intervals to making the target vulnerable to a specific type of attack. They are not exclusive to the Arisen and their Pawns, but can be inflicted by WeaponsSkillsItems, and the environment upon their Enemies, granting a fierce edge in battle if applied wisely.
