Dragon's Dogma 2 Ibrahim's Scrap Store Forgery

To get started on forgery, head to Ibrahim's Scrap Store that can be located in the Checkpoint Rest Town. You can run into this area during the Main questline on your way to the second region Battahl. One of this store's best features is the ability to forge duplicates of items that you've already encountered or owned.

Once you speak to Ibrahim, just simply give Ibrahim an item and he will duplicate the item for a certain fee that depends from item to item. It will take him approximately 1 in-game day to make the duplicate item for you. But beware, even though this may seem like a very helpful way to get certain items faster, some forged items may not offer the same effect as the ones that you find, these would be called "Fakes". One of the notable items that can be forged but are fakes is Ferrystones, which are 100% guaranteed to be fakes.

One of the most helpful ways to make use of this forgery is to duplicate late-game materials that you know will be needed. Make sure to keep at least one specific item always to duplicate it later on.

A good use of Ibrahim is forging materials that are tougher to get pre endgame. He can duplicate any crafting material if you have spare coin and don't want to hunt for it. I used him for wailing crystals and a few others.

I had a bandit steal one of my pawns fully fueled lanterns, then when I came to this store, under the "Special Finds" tab, a lantern drained of fuel was found....

Should be noted that I believe this store works like for example “the chest in fire link shrine ds1”. I accidentally sold two tomes required for a maister quest elsewhere. Low and behold I can buy them back here for 10000g each
