Forager's Tome is an Implement type of Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Forager's Tome is a tome that grants a pawn the Forager specialization, allowing them to mark the location of enhancement materials on the map.
Forager's Tome Use in Dragon's Dogma 2
Unlocks the Forager Specialization for your Pawn. You will now be able to see crafting materials as icons on the map.
How to get Forager's Tome
- Gifted to you by Malcolm some days after you have completed the quest The Heel of History
- It has been reported that you can also receive additional copies of Forager's Tome by raising affinity with other children in the Slums Quarter or in The Nameless Village.

- You can gift this item. It will give 30 points of favor to an NPC that likes the item.
AnonymousI just received the forager's tome from Trysha, the girl from the quest Spellbound... Not sure if it was just from raising her affinity, or after raising the whole families affinity, however I received it 3 days after completing the quest. I had just recently given the grandfather a bunch of stuff the night before. Received it the next day, then gave the grandmother one more item, and she gave me the mage miester skill

I just received the forager's tome from daphne after the quest house of the blue sunbright. I gave sebastien a potion for blight, potion for sleep, and a misshapen eye. He made the journey to melve and back safe and sound. I visited the house again the next day. Daphne was still there, and she gave me the tome.
Malcolm and kendrick never gave me anything.

I got mine from Malcolm and used it, but later switched to a different specialization. Is it possible to get a second one from a different npc?

I can confirm that giving copper stone to Harvey in the slums of Vernworth works to get forager. I think I gave him 3-4 pieces.

I can also confirm that the kids give it out at random after about three days of consecutive gift-giving. I previously thought that only Malcolm could give it, but I spoiled him to the point where the stingy brat follows me around everywhere, and I was still getting nothing. I read B1Showharu's comment and indeed got TWO tomes from Rick and Aimee.
I highly advise to not waste your time with Malcolm, and go right to the more generous children in the slums.
I ran around Vernworth gifting all the kids there favorite items Girls like mostly apples, figs, and blueberries. boys got copperstone and Ogre Spur. Then went to rest. Npc can accept one gift a day to improve relations. On my thrid round gave Aimee(found in the slums) A apple and she gifted me the tome.

Lepak one of the children in Mysterious Village gifted this to me after raising Affinity. I don't even this it was max.

Ended up getting this randomly from one of the kids in town that I talked to a bunch in the past. Not Malcom, but a different one. Seems to be an affinity reward from children.

Got this randomly from Daphne days after finishing the quest of her pretending to be the boy.
Got one from Daphne after doing all the quest that related to her (to the point when the maid got fired). She came to my 20k house and gave me the tome.
