Champion's Fable is an Implement type of Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Champion's Fable is A tome detailing an exceptional ability for warriors. Use it to learn Arc of Might. The Arisen's main pawn will also receive the same effect.

Unlocks Arc of Might Warrior Skill for yourself and your main pawn.
How to get Champion's Fable
This item is acquired as a reward from Beren upon raising his Favor to max by giving him Gifts, doing his Quests and Escorting him places. You will first meet Beren at Beren’s Tent near Borderwatch Outpost.
After building up affinity by completing his quests, Visit him at Beren's Childhood Home in Battahl and talk to him and you will receive the reward. You may have to do an escort quest or give him gifts to max affinity.

- You can gift this item. It will give 100 points of favor to an NPC that likes the item.

You get the Lifetaker greatsword as a reward not the scroll. Like with every other Maister, you need to have affinity leveled up and completed their quests and escorts then you go to where the Maister is and they give you the scroll.
Go find Beren in his childhood home south of Checkpoint Rest town after finishing his quest chain and maxing affinity.

You don't have to do an escort quest, I declined, rested a day and gave him 1 bunch flower to get the scroll.
