Berries work by picking one of three types when you start a new game (or) new game +

Whichever berry you get, that's all you get. To get other berries you have to either:

      - Gather stockpile your current berries before the true ending, THEN start a new game + and get more of the new berries, Ripen them and combine them.

      OR

Make a pawn quest to request the berries you simply don't have in your world and do the same ripen process.

These methods, to my knowledge, should work.
