      If he refuses to teach you the skill, show him the Turquoise Ring Trysha gave you after completing her quest.

        You must do the quest Spellbound after this quest. If you learned Meteoron he will know and get angry when you say his daughter taught you and he will refuse to teach you Maelstrom. If you decline to say who taught you he refuses anyway.

          wai i had all 5 books in my inventory already forgeried and it didnt do this ? NOTE: You must wait a few days in-game, escort him, return to Checkpoint Rest Town, wait a few days again, and then speak to him to receive the item. the game faded to black and he just gave me the outfit and the scroll

            I used this item without sorcerer unlocked on my arisen but my main pawn was a sorcerer and the skill is not there but the item is gone.

              Did both quests, never got any of the spells... am i missing something? About to escort him to vernworth, but i never got maelstrom, celestial paen or meteoron...
