Dragon's Dogma 2 Heaven's Key enhancements

  • If you have the requisite Materials at hand, you can enhance your equipment at any shop equipped with a forge. Consider enhancing your equipment according to your level and fighting style.
  • There are several styles of smithing used in enhancement, and each one produces a different result, such as moderate, all-around improvement, or a significant increase to Magick or might. Choose the style that is most compatible with your preferred equipment and approach to combat.
  • Players can mix different types of enhancements. For example, players can have a Weapon or a piece of Armor with the first two enhancements of a style, and apply a different one for the third one.  This adds further versatility and customization to Weapons and Armor
  • Wyrmfire smithing allows players to further improve their equipment past the third level, but does not work like the other four smithing schools. In this case, the benefits given does not add up in the same way, in this case it grants the weapon an x flat in certain stat. It also reduces by half the weight of the item.
  • Instead of gold, Wyrmfire upgrades cost Wyrmslife Crystals.
  • For example, Peltflayers level 3 Vermundian has 1.24 weight and 134 Strength. and Level 3 Elven has 1.24 kg Weight and 125 Strength. If players apply a wyrmfire upgrade to both of these weapons, the results will be different: Vermundian path Peltflayers final stats will be 189 Strength, while Elven and 180 Strength. So in the case of this weapon, the flat stat increased is +55 in Strength.

End game for me, i like no element dragger and full damage augment. Knock monster down with spiral shot from bow, it's easy aim head. When monster down, just spam dragger with light / hard attack, no stamina use. Mage or magic book can add element to dragger so no need element dragger.

For anyone confused by people saying these daggers are better then dragons vein. These daggers stats **** on all the other daggers stats. Literally just do simple adding... Not only that but dual damage type weapons are just superior to having to rely on a follower to get **** right. Alot of the times the mage in the party would override my super effective elemental damage with some bullshit fire. Against fire slimes?

And these daggers not only have an elemental damage type and the highest damage for daggers but they also have the best element, Holy! Holy hits everything in the game for at least neutral damage, which is bigger then alot of your realize.

Like some have said in the comments comparing this to dragons vein, i feel you would get more bang for your buck with these not only because you can get it early on compared to dragons vein, but the magic damage that comes with these is an added bonus vs anything that could have some resistance to physical (those ghost things that float around) and ask yourself the odds of having a pawn buff yourself to the appropriate element if you do use physical type daggers as well as the time it could take for them to apply it. Although by endgame you'll be pretty overpowered so anything will work, depends on what flavor and fashion you want.

Okay, why does it feel like this is way stronger the dragon's vein? Like.....by a lot! maybe a tiny bit less damage, but combined with it's magick and good knockdown power, it feels like the dragon daggers can't compare! Maybe if adding affinities to the dragon daggers might make it a bit better.....but still.

Imagine doing the numbers and conclude elven smithing is superior because of meadly 10 dmg while completly ignoring that dwarfen frickin DOUBLES stagger potential lol.

Is it safe to assume Vermundian enchantment is better than Battahli for these daggers as they also benefit from Magick?
