Daggers are a type of Weapon in Dragon's Dogma 2. Daggers are the Thief's weapons of choice, and two of them can be equipped at the same time. Characterized by their small size, Daggers excel as quick-hitting weapons ready to land precise hits that will cripple Enemies, making short work of them.

Does the Frosted Edges' Magick damage add to the normal damage, or how does that work?

Interestingly enough, some daggers are better for endgame knockdown party builds, while the others are better for raw damage and Battahli enhancements.
The Dowsing Spikes; outside of just the nice utility of treasure chest finding, has pretty good knockdown when upgraded with Dwarven enhancements; and you could either go Dwarven or Elven for something like the Heaven's Key.
My only issue at the moment; and something I hope the potential DLC fixes, is that we're going to need an endgame enhancement that brings all weapons in a closer ball park for damage, especially since there is a severe lack of elemental weapons that stay relevant for very long.

It's missing the Peltflayers.
Just got them from a chest at Waterfall Cave 2F.
You can get Bolt from the Blue within the 1st hour of play and I'd recommend getting them. Even if you later find something better they are good for cutting the head off a certain boss ;)
