What are Armor Pieces in Dragon's Dogma 2

The game features a significant variety of Armor pieces for characters to wear. Each piece of Armor gives protection for a specific part of the character's body. Most Armor pieces can only be equipped by specific vocations. While you would have to check these restrictions individually for each armor set, there is a general rule of thumb you can follow:

i can't believe after two playthroughs i just now realized you don't have shirt and pants to equip under your armor like in DD1

I’ve spent like two and a half hours creating my character just to end up covering him in a bunch of armor. Armor looks good, don’t get me wrong, but I’d at least like to hide my helmet, if anything.

I just wish they had included some generic looking armor for each class, fighter and warrior got done especially dirty in the end game.

The armor variety in this one is so disappointing, only a few choices per vocation and only one set or two actually appeal to me, don't know what they were thinking.

"This time we made a conscious goal of trying to create something that even at higher levels, people would be encouraged to choose different things. So there will be some visual variety into what people were choosing." -Hideaki Itsuno.
Well I only see a single armor set literally everywhere on our Pawns, so THAT STATEMENT AGED WELL.

Holy **** there's next to no gear worth getting in this game, every class has an absolute BiS that you buy from the dragonforged, what a ****ing joke.

So it seems like only helmets are being found in the unmoored world? No chest pieces or anything. I had wanted to explore but the time limit they have really took the exploration fun in the unmoored world out of it for me

Armour in this game is just disappointing. Expected a lot more. Still using Mid-early armour in end game because everything else is too wacky looking.

Does anyone know if the helmet of the fighter class guy on the cover of the game exist? I haven't been able to find it yet and it looks super cool.

Way less customization than dd1. You could mix and match TONS of armor plates, belts, undershirts, gambason, elbow armor, gloves, boots, knightly mantles (cleric long skirt) not to mention all the other ones added by Dark Arisen.

It'll get updated in a couple weeks, but for the time being, does anyone know where to find the arch-conjurors robes?

Honestly disappointed by how few helmets there are. Many of them don't even look that good either, most are just hoods or jewelry.
