Builds in Dragon's Dogma 2 are optimized combinations of various Vocations, Stats, Weapons, Armor, Skills, and other aspects of character customization geared toward specific playstyles and goals. In the previous game, switching builds regularly was viable, allowing players to keep gameplay fresh, as they were allowed to switch Vocations easily through various NPCs at inns. Consider taking up a new Build if you feel like gameplay is getting stagnant or are struggling with a certain part of the game. Once the game has been officially released and more information is available, this page will be updated with many unique Dragon's Dogma 2 Builds.

Vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2

Vocations or Classes in Dragon's Dogma 2 are the many character classes the player can choose from. The Vocation you choose for the Arisen or your Pawns dictates what Weapons and Skills they are able to use, as well as how their Stats increase per level up. Players will have four starting Vocations to choose from: Archer, Fighter, Mage, and Thief. A new advanced Vocation has been confirmed in the Mystic Spearhand, which combines the use of magick and physical melee with a Duospear. The Magick Archer, specializing in long-ranged magical damage, also returns from the previous game.

Stats and Stat Growth in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Stats are the various character attributes that determine their performance and capabilities with their chosen Vocation and Skills. A character's Stats will automatically increase as they gain experience and level up. In the previous game, players were also able to increase certain Stats temporarily by using up certain specific consumables, which can be acquired through exploration, combining Items, or by buying from Vendor NPCs. In the previous game, the character's Vocation will determine the specific value by which each of their Stats grows from leveling up. It was therefore important to be mindful of picking the right Vocations to have as they level up while considering what Vocation they want the character to end up having in their final Build.

In the previous game, there wasn't much variance in the Vocations' Stat growths until after level 10 unless they switched between the Basic Vocations. Stat growth then becomes more varied after level 10 and more focused on the Stats relevant to the specific Vocation. Stat growth becomes even more focused for levels above level 100 depending on the Vocation. It is yet unclear if this system will make a return in this sequel game, but players can probably expect something similar.

For those who like trickster infighting of monster but want some damage:
      Take the Wayfarer
Take a censer, a staff for mage and a magic bow
      You will need as skills:
      Rearmament
      Sagittate downpour/Avalanche
      Sweeping/Suffocating Shroud
      Aromatic Rally/Resurgence
The mage staff give you Anodyne to heal

You also have very good mobility for exploration avec la lévitation du mage!

You can ofc swap the magic bow for any other job that have a singular attack you love, just note you cannot take any "ultimate skill" like the very cool Wild Furie of the Spearhand.

You can also take just 3 skills of the trickster and trade the 4th for anodine (since Rearmament take one of the 4 skill, but that allow you to discard the mage in your group and put a sorcerer insted)

In summary, trickster and wayfarer is a good way to hade more utility to the trickster.
